In the one of many impossible stories, there’s Fatima Ibrahimi. Fatima has always loved to run, but she grew up in a place where running for women is not only not accepted by society, but is also dangerous — Afghanistan.

In August 2021, she had just fled the country and found refuge in Canada. She was eager to get her message out amidst the unrest, and we gave her the platform.
